#101 and #102 Toosle and Cheshire! Kitties ahoy!

I was in a mood to draw cats today apparently

This is Toosle. He sneaks into houses and moves all the furniture to the left one inch. He also eats the keys so that the humans can't find them. Toosle also has an extra eye on his tail so he can spy out for trouble.

Cheshire Cat! As mentioned before, I love me some Alice in Wonderland. As it's stoner's day or whatever ( I don't celebrate...), I felt it would be somewhat appropriate. All I can think about is "We're all mad here!" That quote also applies to the last 2 weeks of school. I only gots like 20 more monsters to go :)

#100 Emilin!

Oh gosh you guys, it's the 100th monster. Granted if I didn't do that week long hiatus, I would have hit 100 sooner, but...shhh!

This is for my fellow floor RA, Mary. Underneath her sweet, bubbly, hamster-lovin' exterior, there's quite a fierce gal. I adore her.

She requested a cheese monster, and I drew it kinda in her adorable cuddly style. D'aw.

she's been an absolute peach for helping me lotion up my back tattoo because i can't reach it :/

oh man, i'm not doing so great at updates. balancing out work and life and this is just woo, hectic.

my excuse for yesterday was that i had RA stuff and was getting a tattoo done.

anyhoo. these guys are going to be featured in the FIRST monster per diem book. the book will feature the first 50 monsters. i'm going to be getting it done for my last senior studio project. woooo. soo only 3 more weeks. paanic ahoy!

IM BACK BABY

Good gosh. So taking a week hiatus was a blessing and a curse. A blessing because I've been horrifyingly busy (only 4ish more weeks left until graduation!) and a curse because there's no way I can make up all last week's monsters. Well, maybe after I'm done with the challenge I will.


Yes, I realize it's Wednesday and it's been over a week. I have been drawing but since things have been gettin' kooky up in here, I haven't had a spare moment to scan them in. So FINALLY I did.

The melon heads of Michigan are said to reside near the Felt Mansion in Laketown Township. According to one story, they were originally children with hydrocephalus who lived at the Junction Insane Asylum near Felt Mansion. The story explains that, after enduring physical and emotional abuse, they became feral mutants and were released into the forests surrounding the asylum

This flesh eatin' critter is a Wendigo and is a mythical creature of the Algonquian people. Basically anyone who becomes a cannibal turns into this creeper.
