#93 Cheesikins

This is for my fellow floor RA, Mary. Underneath her sweet, bubbly, hamster-lovin' exterior, there's quite a fierce gal. I adore her.

She requested a cheese monster, and I drew it kinda in her adorable cuddly style. D'aw.

she's been an absolute peach for helping me lotion up my back tattoo because i can't reach it :/

#72 Nuclear Nellie

So daylight saving time? Gimme back my hour of sleep jerk.

Here's Nuclear Nellie. I had a "hurrdeduurh" moment today and drew this lil bugger to get my feeling of how dumb I was feeling down. Then I decided to take him to the next level and he became the monster of the day!

Nuclear Nellie is nuclear waste come to life. He's not the brightest glowing sludge in the landfill, but he's a nice guy. And yes, his name is Nellie. Deal with it. I think he's adorable.

#19 Nessie!

Ahoy there!

Who be that creature at sea? Or in this case, loch. It's Nessie! Maybe? The film quality is a little iffy...

#12 Bonso

My roomate for 2 years came to visit today! Cheryl has been in Paris this last semester (She's been everywhere, except Africa). She's heading out to Walt Disney to lifeguard the sugar high kids at the pool, and to take a few classes there.

Cheryl likes 3 things in this world: Cats, Chocolate and Plants. Maybe her boyfriend, but that's pushing it.

She requested a plant monster, and since she loves a bonsai now and then, I drew a bonsai monster. Bonso. He's cute and tiny and makes oxygen.

woo!

#10's going back to school

Ah, it's now the first day of the winter semester! Hurrah! It's also my LAST "First Day of School"!!!! I chose to honor this moment, with two kiddy monsters heading back to the grim boring reality of early childhood education. I only got to wait for the school bus for kindergarten and first grade, then I changed schools where there was no bus (I love riding school busses now...I was deprived). I do remember waiting for the bus in the house and then waddling out in my big jacket and snow pants when it pulled up.

Also, I have had this song stuck in my head all day. Bummer I couldn't find a better version of it. Back to School Song

What should be the names of these kiddy monsters?

Melvin-#5

OMG OMG QUICK UPLOAD.

I ended up staying at my friend's place longer than I thought and quick ran home to do a monster! Oooops!

A pocket monster! Well, not the Pokemon pocket monster, but still a travel sized companion!

So Melvin, he lives in your pocket and takes notes of everything you say, so you can't forget things. He never uses pens so you don't have an inky explosion. I wish I had one so he could write down my ideas, because I forget everything. Oh well.

See you tomorrow!
