so one of my residents requested that he be a monster. he's from n.c. and decided to do an urban legend monster from his state. apparently in n.c. they found an "unidentified life form" in the sewers. 

it's kinda pulsating and gross. 

it fits cuz he's full of shit. jk cam.

#57 Snake in a Cake!

1) It's my BDAY TODAY! therefore I give you special birthday monster!
2) I fear snakes more than anything else in the world! So it's my own personal monster. Scaly creeps.

When I was in elementary school i would draw a snake popping out of a cake (it rhymed therefore it was funny) for people's birthday cards. At some point the kids got me to teach them how to draw proper snake/cake cards. For like a year solid everyone got snake in a cake cards. 

I really hate snakes and if this happened in real life, i would pee my pants. so don't do it.

Whew, we're back on schedule here. That essay for philosophy was a bit of a jerk and I handled it. It inspired the monster intended for yesterday.

#50 Flying Spaghetti Monster

For my Pastafarians, I present, the pasta deity, Flying Spaghetti Monster. To learn what he's all about click {here}.

 I would like everyone to know that a) I hit my second goal of 50 monsters! and b) I now have 20 followers which is pretty awesome (tell your friends!). I have about 80 some more monsters left to draw/days until my graduation. 

Yes, I've missed a few updates here and there, it's still hard to coordinate my crazy work schedule/my winter sickness/job/life, but I always make it up the next day. I'm usually pretty terrible at keeping goals, but so far, so good on this one :)

I'm sick agaaaiiin, and just plain exhausted. I took a nap after class yesterday and ended up sleeping through my night class. And todaaaaay I started watching anime to make myself feel better (it didn't help). So I feel like slug girl today.

I t's Valentine's Day and to celebrate...Zombies! Colin and I started our relationship by watching a zombie movie together. Yes, I'm ripping his heart out but that's because he's eating my arm.

Blast from the past

So here's one of my first character's I came up with in 8th grade. Her name was Yuki (you-key...i was a japanime fan). Yuki: Gothchild. Yes, Anime nerd and a goth kid, I was super popular...right....

Anyway, she was kind of a creepy and angry little girl, but I loved her and I drew her on EVERYTHING!

When I brought my old desk back from home, I found this old pencil drying on it. Then I started coloring her in out of boredom. I figured I should post some history of her.

My senior year of high school I kept drawing her differently and I ended up changing her appearance and eventually her name. Almost the same kind of personality. Her name changed to Emilin and if you've seen my other work, you know who that is :) But for those of you who don't, I'll put her picture here.

As you can see, still pasty, still has a dark dress with a weird spirally thing at the end. Emilin usually doesn't have legs visible. Her dress can flex to any shape or size she wanted though.
I eventually got the more "adult" version of Emilin tattooed on my arm during my freshman year of college.

It's Chu Chu from my favorite game series The Legend of Zelda. I loved them in the Wind Waker because they're just so goofy looking. Also, I'm still sick so the contents of my kleenex looked a lot like a chu chu. Have fun battling boogers Link!

I have been attacked by the common cold :(. I wasn't feeling up to doing any extra doodling today outside of my work. However, the show must go on, so here's a quickie sicky monster. Yes, he has an air bender tattoo on his head. Deal with it.

I just restarted watching Lost. I'm on season 3, episode 8. I have a relative idea about the smoke monster, but enough that it's a super sneaky mystery!

This dapper fellow is quite dead, but he's still a classy man. He enjoys listening to his phonograph, pulling worms out of his mustache and sipping fine wine by the fireplace.

#36-Forest Trickster

This little bugger pulls pranks on folks who go through the woods. He switches paths around, and throws nuts down at hikers. During the night he makes creepy noises outside of people's tents.

#35 Gramzilla

My friend Niki suggested "Bingo Babes" and I had no idea what the hell she meant. However my mind instantly went to the fat grandmas in fishnets i would draw all the time freshman year to gross out my friends. Then I was thinking Gram Gram would be a better solution to Godzilla. Giggles ensued and Gramzilla came to be.

Gram Gram is off her meds! RUN!

My grandma looks hella better than this Gramzilla and would probably just make cookies instead of rampaging.

#32 Snowmageddon!

I don't know what you've heard recently, but apparently the Midwest has been in "Snowopocalypse" or "Snowmageddon". And apparently the media has nothing better to do than to over hype things. This sh*t storm is currently about to pound Michigan into a pulp.

My school, CCS, sent us an email saying that our evening class as well as tomorrow's classes were canceled. There was much rejoicing until 10 minutes later we got another email saying it was just the evening classes. You can imagine how ticked we were :) However I JUST got a text saying everything is closed until Thursday.
